The North Carolina Tar Heels are off to a 2-0 start this week ahead of a big Atlantic Coast Conference matchup against Pitt. Fresh off beating Charlotte on Tuesday, the Diamond Heels bats stayed hot. And they did so early. Vance Honeycutt got UNC started off with a lead-off home run to give the Diamond Heels a 1-0 lead. UNC added four more runs in the bottom of the second, with Honeycutt hitting a sac fly, with Johnny Castagnozzi and Reece Holbrook collecting RB's as well. After High Point got one run in the third, the Diamond Heels added three more in the bottom half of the inning to extend the lead to 8-1.
